How to clone a repository with an insecure connection?

Good day!
When I try to incline a turnip, I get the following thing:

Cloning into 'ShopB2C_Front'...
warning: ┌──────────────── SECURITY WARNING ───────────────┐
warning: │ TLS certificate verification has been disabled! │
warning: └─────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
warning: HTTPS connections may not be secure. See https://aka.ms/gcmcore-tlsverify for more information.
fatal: Authentication failed for 'https://**repo-name**/ShopB2C_Front/'

can anyone suggest how to get around this?
I tried commands like this but it
git config --global http.sslVerify false
didn't work..
