How to clone a repository from GitLab to GitHub Desktop (macOS)?

I have a GitLab repository, I want to add it to GitHub Desktop on macOS. SourceTree doesn't like it. How to do it?

Use GitKraken The
free version supports both BitBucket and GitHub and Gitlab and everything else local.
