How to choose the "right way"?
Hello. While learning about creating WordPress themes, the question arose:
"When should you use WordPress frameworks and basic themes, and when not (and are there such cases at all)?"
For example, you can use the same UnderScoreS + Unyson with the Page Builder extension, which you can then stuff with your own custom chips. Is this method suitable only for beginners or is this approach actively used for professional custom website development?
As a beginner, I need to learn this to understand the general concept of WordPress themes, but still interested in questions about how the above elements apply in real work?

Everything is very individual and depending on who and how will serve the site in the future. Personally, in my projects I try to avoid any Page Builder as much as possible in favor of Advanced Custom FIelds PRO. Thus, I am 99% protected from unexpected bugs in CSS as the client fills the site.
I always use Underscores - simply because it's convenient and fast. Plus it is updated quite often.
