How to choose RAM by frequency?
Hello.
I want to put a second RAM module on my computer (there is a slot).
If I understand correctly, according to CPU-Z, the Memory Frequency bus frequency is 798.1 MHz (1:6), the frequency of the already existing Max bandwidth PC3-12800 (800 MHz) module.
Do I understand correctly that Memory Frequency 798.1 MHz is the limiting frequency and memory with a higher frequency will not pull? Or is it possible to put a DIMM module DDR3 PC3-12800 Samsung PC3-12800, 4GB, 1.5V, frequency 1600MHz? Nothing, what frequency is 1600 MHz?
