How to choose hosting for a site for a beginner?

what hosting is suitable for these websites?
preferably free hosting as I am testing the practice of building sites

or your own / local - OpenServer.

There are plenty of free ones, but they may have limitations - on the size of stored files, on their number, on the software that is there ... They can insert ads - they also need to live somehow :)
Better inexpensive, but paid .
