How to choose a platform for creating mobile applications?

Lord!
For many years I have been a full-cycle web developer in PHP and MYSQL and decided to broaden my horizons and try to study the creation of hybrid mobile applications.
The choice fell on IONIC FRAMEWORK.
But then a problem suddenly arose: there are no normal textbooks and courses of a similar plan anywhere :(
Maybe I’m looking in the wrong place? Or do I still have to watch all the courses on Youtube in English?
I know Inlish ... but damn it, before that I studied everything only in Russian guides, which is not the case with IONIC :(
