How to check the remote control on Debian?
Hello dear!
For a long time I struggled with the remote control under Debian, with lyrics and ir-cabletables until I found out that the banal cat /dev/input/event3
one should show something. But it doesn't show me. Actually this is the problem.
If I do, for example, cat /dev/input/*
then I see keyboard presses there, but I don’t see the remote control. Maybe I'm misunderstanding something?
The remote control is standard Microsoft, the receiver always blinks when you press the remote control, it is immediately detected in Windows and works there.
The piece of iron is quite specific , on ARM:
