How to check the remote control on Debian?

Hello dear!
For a long time I struggled with the remote control under Debian, with lyrics and ir-cabletables until I found out that the banal cat /dev/input/event3one should show something. But it doesn't show me. Actually this is the problem.
If I do, for example, cat /dev/input/*then I see keyboard presses there, but I don’t see the remote control. Maybe I'm misunderstanding something?
msremote.gifThe remote control is standard Microsoft, the receiver always blinks when you press the remote control, it is immediately detected in Windows and works there.
The piece of iron is quite specific , on ARM:

[email protected]_odroid:/home/seventh# uname -a
Linux 7th_odroid 3.8.13.16 #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Feb 11 09:43:03 BRST 2014 armv7l GNU/Linux

When I reconnect the console, I see in /var/log/Xorg.0.log:
[ 6922.407] (II) config/udev: removing device Media Center Ed. eHome Infrared Remote Transceiver (0471:0815)

From here also I define that the panel on event3. By the way, when you poke it into other usb ports, it still remains on event3.
Well:
