How to check if the link in the telebot button is correct?

The bottom line is this, the bot asks me to enter a link to the site, after which this link is inserted into the inline button of the keyboard, if the link is normal (for example: https://google.com ) then everything is OK, if the link is incorrect (for example: https://sdfsdf ) then the bot crashes.
