How to check how the site will look on the retina screen?

There are many recipes on the net on how to prepare a site for retina screens, but I have not found it - is it possible to somehow check how the site will look without having this screen?

You can try developer.android.com/tools/help/emulator.html , but it's hard (slow emulator). Perhaps there are other options.

The easiest is to go to the app store (or any other store of the equipment you are interested in) and open the site on demo devices.
As a rule, they are connected to wi fi and there will be no problems.

Of the minuses:
- if you often run there (to debug jambs), consultants will start to look askance :) solvable by a replacement store.
Another option is a friend with the right device

What do you want to check? Layout or image quality? If layout, then set the resolution as the device (in the same chrome via devtools). With images it is more difficult, I can assume that you need to compare the ppi of your monitor and the required device, and take into account the distance to the eyes. Although, it is likely that without the device it would be heresy.

Chrome - F12 Right corner Settings -> User Agent -> Override device metrics
