How to change Windows system files from under Linux?
Good day to all!
In general, an old laptop fell into my hands, there is a licensed Windows 10 on board, a user account and an admin account, both of course with a password, where without it. The password from the user account is generously signed on the laptop itself. After poking around in this account, I realized that the laptop once belonged to an office clerk from a large IT company, but the person apparently quit, his corporate account was blocked, since neither Outlook nor the link can connect to the account, but on the laptop itself, the account is valid. The trouble is that in addition to the home folder on this account, you can’t get anywhere else, but I would like to study what else is on the disk, and a licensed Windows would be very handy.
Let me, I think, I’ll boot from Linux, submenu the Utilman.exe file to cmd.exe, launch cmd on the login screen, create a new user with admin rights and log in under the new account already as a king in my possession, but it wasn’t there.
First of all, I am met with an error in Linux that it is impossible to mount an ntfs disk, since Windows is in hibernation, but this nuance was resolved quickly, it was enough to log out of the system with the shift key pressed. But the adventures did not end there, I try to replace the file, but in vain, for some reason mv tells me that cannot move ... operation not supported, this is strange. I ran ls -l and I see that almost all Windows system files have an unsupported reparse point signed. And at this moment, I stalled something, it was a deep night, I was already tired then, digging around in Google before going to bed, I didn’t find a clear answer, I decided to ask you if anyone has come across this? Or maybe someone will offer an alternative way to achieve my goal?
I don’t want to reinstall Windu (because it’s not sporty :D), I would like to somehow solve the issue more gracefully, so to speak :)
PS I remember once upon a time I used Alkid Live CD very actively, it was quite a useful thing look, I tried downloading the USB version, but for some reason after downloading files from USB, the laptop goes into BSOD, I got sad and began to look for another way.
PPS There are no restore points in the system, I tried it through recovery (I forgot how this menu is called correctly in Windows when you reboot with a shift and choose system restore) open cmd, but they ask for a password from the admin account, which, alas, I don’t have, I had to think further.

Because ntfs is a proprietary file system, and the ntfs driver written for Linux does not support all the features.
These files can be, for example, compressed or even encrypted.
Try to boot from another Windows, at least there will be adequate support for ntfs
