How to change the type of already existing content?

How to change the type of already existing content?
For example from Basic page to Article ?
I tried this module https://www.drupal.org/project/node_convert , it requested ctools, installed https://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/ctools-7.x-1...
But when converting got the following error
Trying to get property of non-object in node_convert_load_template() function (line 348 in /var/www/html/project.ru/html/sites/all/modules/node_convert/node_convert.module file).
What other ways are there to change the content type?
I'm zero in Drupal.

@sakrab

Try disabling 2 of these modules, then remove these 2 modules, clear cache and install first ctools then node_convertor.

Search the issue by line number. Maybe there is a patch.

@Nikit

if node convert did not help, then most likely an error in the bound fields.
Try https://www.drupal.org/project/node_export then - prepare the fields the same as the source material type in the destination. Then export and import to the receiver. If successful, you can delete materials from the source (for example, via https://www.drupal.org/project/delete_all or https://drupal.org/project/bulkdelete)

Nikit Khaner , then paste code, paste the code and press import. Result: I get another one of the same material with the same type, marked "new"
