How to change the inscriptions on the site after the translation?

I translated the words through poedit, uploaded them to the site - the .mo .po file. The phrases I needed did not change their meaning - I needed "username" to "login" and "do not log out" to "save password".
Maybe something else needs to be done, tell me what could be the problem?
