How to change the folder structure so that the init file would work?

I decided to change the folder structure, moved the web folder to public, so the advanced template contains Yii and the public folder, where in turn the contents are frontend/web and backend/web. Is it possible to change or add something in the enviroments/index.php settings so that the index.php files are copied to the new path and not the old backend/web and frontend/web?

The structure is good for sharedHosting and/or if not used on a composer server. If you are on "YOU" with the server, and the project has version control via git, you use composer, then of course it's easier to use the structure out of the box.
Although you can create your own skeleton, with your enviroments and do as you did. Advanced template is a template. Yii implies that you can make your own template, with any architecture.
The video that you watched, like others on my channel, is a push, not the ultimate truth. So think for yourself based on the needs of each specific project. I write for beginners, so I simplify many things meaningfully.
