How to change the encoding of an existing database?

Good day! There is a database Firebird (2.5). I want to fetch data from it using Node.js, but! It uses win1251 encoding because users are written in Russian. Is there any tool for "painless" transfer of the database to UTF-8? Or can it be done through IBExpert? If so, how? Please tell me which option is better to use and how. Thank you!
