How to change the default JavaScriptSerializer to another JsonSerializer in ASP.NET MVC?

There is an answer on the internet how to serialize an object to Json and send it to the client. And I need to not only serialize objects with a non-standard JavaScriptSerializer, but also deserialize them. Is there any way to tell the Framework to use a different serializer?
