How to change the color of dots in TChart?

The essence of the problem - I can not change the color of the TCharta series dot symbols!
The procedure is this. I put TChart on the form. I call his editor. I add a series of type Line. Switching to series editing. On the Format tab, the color of the series is blue, let it be. I go to the Point tab. I make the dots visible. Now I want to change their color. Icon stroke color (Border... Color buttons) changes. Whichever one I choose, I immediately see it on the chart. I'm trying to change the fill color (Pattern... Color buttons). And here - a bummer! Whatever color you choose - the reaction to it is zero! The icons remain the colors of the series. What's a glitch?
At first I sinned on conflicts between TChart and FastReport or something else. But now I demolished all third-party components, reinstalled Delphi. And in a clean environment, all the same misunderstandings.
Delphi XE3 system, TeeChart Standart supplied by Delphi.
Initially, this was all programmatically done. The series were created, displayed, and the color of the icons did not change. It turned out that in the design mode, it does not work.
Can anyone come across such "quirks" of TChart (or similar), and knows how to treat it?

Gradient enabled? There is something like this: the gradient is turned on for any sneeze (however, on points - I see it for the first time).
