TK: Install x64 system with minimal loss of x32 settings
Prompt software for this; is there any way to save the registry?

1. VMware converter - create an image of an old x32 machine. you can install locally, you can make an image remotely over the grid.
2. VMware player - install on a new x64 machine and run the image from the previous paragraph.

There is no easy way to upgrade from x32 to x64. There is too much difference in the branches of the registry, including, because the registry cannot be transferred to a stupid or even separate branches from applications.
