How to change permissions on a folder or file in ubuntu?
Good afternoon,
I'm trying to install LAMP using the tasksel utility, it seems to me that something worked out but not completely, there is not enough mind to change the rights for /var/www/html/index.html index.html is not edited.
Help, please, to understand.
All I need is that I copy small sites on php-includes to the /var/www/html/ folder and that php inserts in html pages are picked up.

tasksel is a bad way to install LAMP!
High probability of getting a brick instead of a server!
A bunch of instructions on how to properly install in the open spaces.
And to edit the file, you need to open it through sudo:
sudo nano /var/www/html/index.html
or
sudo gedit /var/www/html/index.html
or after sudo any other editor
