How to change mysql version in mamp?

I need version 5.6, but it's higher by default, how can I downgrade it?

I haven't seen builds with older MySQL. In general, I came to the conclusion that I threw it out (mamp) and set everything up myself

If MAMP does not allow you to select component versions, then either not at all, or install an older version of MAMP where an older version of MySQL was. Or manually pick out MySQL from MAMP and install MySQL 5.6 separately. Or replace the MySQL executable files in the MAMP bundle with files from version 5.6.
