How to change layout in OpenCart?

Can you please tell me how to change the layout on opencart? I open the template in the source code, add inputs or headers, and nothing changes in the browser. Is there some sort of debug mode? Launched on localhost, version CMS 3.0.3. Or does everything change only by installing ready-made templates? Thank you all in advance!

In the admin panel - Extensions - Modifiers - Refresh.
And in general, there is a template editor. If you save the result there, there will be changes on the site.
Or, if you re-uploaded the file on the server with the template - in the same place in the template editor - Edit - Reset.
