How to change FTP password on Ubuntu?
Hello, I need to change the FTP password to ubuntu, there are no panels. How can I do this so that the people who made the site could not harm me. here is a screenshot of what is there. Do I need to change only to root, or can they come in through something else?

First:
How to change the password depends on what kind of FTP server you have and how it authorizes users.
PureFTP, VsFTPD, etc.
Second:
The people who made the site can harm you even without access to FTP, simply through their php script, which is an integral part of the CMS. You don't know if it's possible or not. Well, another way is the standard entrance to the site admin panel. If the files in the site directories can be blocked from being changed at the file system level, then the back entrance to the panel must be found and neutralized. So having access to the admin panel, the pest can change the contents of the database, since the site is usually given full access to the database. Blocking access to the admin by IP also does not give 100% protection, since the back door can use a workaround through php which is a wrapper for the admin but lies somewhere in a different directory and is available publicly.
