How to change file extension?

Gentlemen, there are about 1000 JPG images. What is the fastest way to change the extension to jpg? I did not find such functionality in the Fast stone program.

Renamed with Bulk Rename Utility. It says how to use it (in fact, you just need to put a tick in one place, but it’s not clear exactly where exactly).

for our purpose, all we have to worry about is the box labeled Extension (11) down at the bottom right. Change it from Same to Fixed and then type in the new extension you want.
