How to change CMS?

Hello!
Now I am working on the modernization of the site www.rotaract.ru. There was a need to change the CMS. For the site, a "own" management system was made and it is already very outdated. I wanted to change it to WordPress or Joomla. I heard that this is possible by copying the database. It's interesting to know how. I would be grateful for links to articles on how to implement the transition to a new CMS.
The goal is to change the CMS, I'm not interested in SEO now.

By copying the database - no way. But if the old engine has the means to export content, then something is already possible (what and how exactly depends on the export capabilities). Otherwise, either write them, or manually copy-paste.

You can move to Wordpress. The template is light, there is little content.
Does the old CMS have post imports? Directly by copying the database, you will not succeed, the database structure is different.

Between WP and Joomla it is better to choose WP.
There are many plugins for importing. You can also add content manually.
