How to catch phones that appear to be computers?

Some phones have a mode when the browser displays the page as on a PC. Looked - the site looks terrible. I understand that on the server side you can catch only by browser and device model. I don’t remember on which phone I looked, but there was something like X10 in this line.
Who solves this problem? Is there a list of devices with this feature?

When I tell the phone that I want to see the site as on a PC, I am ready to put up with the fact that it will not look perfect. This is usually needed when the "beautiful" mobile version cuts off half the functionality.

If this mode is enabled, then the user needs it, or he forgot to turn it off. In the latter case, you can remind him of the possibility of switching to the mobile version.
