How to catch module conflicts in Opencart?

For example, there are a lot of modules on Opencart 1.5.6, some of them do not work as they should. (RPG, eg) How can you see why it's not working? Technical support is good, but writing to the author of each module because of one is not very convenient.

Turn on error output, look at the logs, analyze the code... it seems there is no other way)
If the modules are honestly bought, then the author really needs to write .. this is his problem.
