How to catch letters sent by cron in the Exim log?
The problem is that when I started Exim in: mode,
exim -bd -d+all >& /var/log/exim-debug.log
I didn't find a single hint in the log of a bunch of emails sent to me by cron. This is useless to mere mortals, but I have one interesting problem, the solution of which lacks only this. The publication is being prepared.
The fifth point tells me that the secret may lie in:
/etc/mail/mailer.conf
sendmail /usr/local/sbin/exim
send-mail /usr/local/sbin/exim
mailq /usr/local/sbin/exim -bp
newaliases /usr/local/sbin/exim -bi
hoststat /usr/local/sbin/exim
purgestat /usr/local/sbin/exim

Look at /var/log/maillog. All letters are there - both passing through your mail server and generated directly by the server. Unless, of course, you changed the log address with configs.
