How to calculate the target action on the site - playing the player?

Attention question. I have a player which is played by the user. An issue comes out daily. Is it possible to somehow calculate the trace of the event using the metric:
1) Playback - that the user did not just visit the page, but launched the player
2) Listening to the end - how to count the listening exactly to the end
I saw that all this can be implemented on GA, but Yandex metric is more familiar

So far I have found an option that you can build the player on playerjs.com and connect GA statistics there
