How to bypass the download speed limit for third-party clients?
About two years ago, Yandex.Disk introduced an artificial download speed limit (upload) to the cloud for all third-party clients, leaving unlimited speed only for its official clients. After that, uploading large files using rclone, cloudsync, etc. on Ya.Disk has become a rotten affair. It's funny that with my 500 Mbps from the provider, when uploading a 40 GB file via rclone, I get an upload speed of 1.5 MB/s, or even less. And through the official client, everything is 40-50 MB / s.
This is, of course, a very ingenious decision on the part of Yandex. It should especially appeal to those who pay for a place on their undercloud, resulting in a high-speed file download channel only from the office. clients.
I, a person who actively uploads files to the clouds via rclone, do not quite like this order of things, and it’s a pity to leave the 200 GB donated from the Disk team unoccupied. For this reason, I am actively looking for a way to bypass the artificial download speed limit and really hope for the help of the community.
I'm trying to understand exactly how the official clients of Ya.Disk are checked for their officiality on the server side:
