How to broadcast a temporary screensaver in case of a break in the incoming RTMP stream?
Good afternoon!
Please help me with a task.
The configuration is simple: there is a VDS with nginx rtmp. Several cameras push rtmp streams to it, which are further broadcast by nginx via rtmp (via push) to YouTube.
The problem is that the Internet sometimes disappears from the cameras and I would like to catch this moment and broadcast the video / picture on YouTube as a stub. And in case of restoration of the incoming stream from the cameras - broadcast it to YouTube again.
What is the best way to do this?
I suspect that it is necessary to push to YouTube through a script called via exec_push, and somehow handle this situation in it ..

A person needs to be imprisoned, simple automation will not cope with this. And I'm sure you don't have a budget for a serious approach.
The most that can be done cheaply and cheerfully is buffering, smoothing out small failures.
