How to boot Linux from virtual disk?
There is an office PC with a VB virtual machine and CentOS installed on it.
You need to make a boot from this image on your home laptop. Loading at the start of the laptop. On the device are Win7.10, Ubuntu 16.04b, GRUB bootloader.

move a virtual partition to a physical partition on a flash drive / usb-screw.

It won’t work at startup (there are crutches, of course, but it’s all miserable) and so you transfer a virtual disk from CentOS to Windows or Ubuntu (depending on what you have by default) connect vhdd to VB set up VB autorun at system startup, then auto start the virtual machine in full screen mode and everyone is happy.
