So you yourself answered your own question, in the admin panel of most routers there is something like "access control", or "URL filter". Drive in the instagram.com domain there and that's it (you can add the ip of instagram, the domain with www and without). In theory, the application stupidly accesses instagram.com and takes data from there.

Any blocking can be bypassed using an anonymizer. This is for the future.
