How to block an issue in JIRA?

Tell me, is it possible in JIRA to actually block a task (no ability to move to the next status) until the task associated with it is closed (blocks/is blocked by)?

So far, most likely, only with the power of plugins. For example: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/29496/jira-...
Well, it is obvious that with the help of ScriptRunner or SIL Script this can be implemented, but it is also paid

They say that it is impossible https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-43369
But you can do it with subtasks - there is a condition that if the subtasks are not closed, then the status cannot be transferred. As an option for a crutch, maybe it will do.
