How to block access to YouTube within the network through a router?
You need to close access to YouTube within the network.
Through browsers, both on PC and on phones / tablets, it does not work.
But on phones / tablets it works through the application.
What domain to register to block access through the application?

Topikstarter, I explain what zdiii wrote. You need to check at what address the application climbs. Most likely, directly by a given range of IP addresses, and not by a URI address. Moreover, it is quite possible that it climbs over IPv6. I recommend:
1. Block the entire range 74.125.0.0/16. all IPs from 74.125.0.0 to 74.125.255.255 inclusive. Please note that most likely a lot of different useful sites will fall under the ban. I'm sure there are thousands and millions. Maybe you won't notice it, or maybe you will.
2. See here: bgp.he.net/report/dns/youtube But keep in mind that these are the IPs of the Google speakers, which means that if you lock them, in general, any Google services may become unavailable. In general, any and through any program.
3. If programs connect via https, then most likely you will not be saved by all these blocking. Only the second option can help, but I warned about the consequences.
4. Some sites display YouTube videos using Flash. This is another problem that banal locks cannot be circumvented.
If you want to block such resources, I recommend hiring a competent specialist to set up a proxy server for you, or buy a good router (some Microtic, Junniper, Cisco models can do what you need) and set it up. The option with the server is MUCH cheaper, I warn you right away. The option with a router is more expensive because such a router itself will cost no less than 20-30 thousand (Microtic) or closer to 100,000 rubles. and more, in the case of Cisco or Junniper. Plus, the specialist himself, or rather his work with this hardware, will cost at least 10-20 thousand.
With your home piece of iron, i.e. a regular home router (ASUS, D-LINK, LinkSys, TP-Link, etc.) will not be able to do this with a guarantee.
To prevent my daughter from watching bullshit on YouTube, I set up a NetTop-based proxy server with Linux CentOS on board. Now everything seems to be fine. Of course, I am not a millionaire, I do not sleep with any of his relatives, as well as with himself. So I didn't buy a router :)
I block the firewall on vk.com content on Mikrotik. But you can, as Artem said, add a static route for dns and throw out unnecessary content.
