How to become a PM without IT education?

Good afternoon. I plan to become a PM, basic education is humanitarian, I have no experience.
Faced with the fact that there are almost no vacancies for juniors, assistants (and if there are, then in Moscow). I found information that you can grow into a project manager from a tester or developer (the first, IMHO, is faster to implement).
1. Is it really necessary to cut such circles, or can the lack of an IT base be leveled, for example, by obtaining certificates, additional education, or something else?
2. In principle, I can get a sales job in an IT company, and there is active networking and reading specialized literature, but is there a more relevant starting vacancy where they can take it without experience?
3. I am not a student, 30+. This might be important.
I look forward to your assessment of the situation, with excitement and respect, Iron_Lynx.

Without experience in this particular area, you can only get a job as an assistant to the project manager. This position will combine part of the duties of the PMA + the duties of the secretary. Being a leader in a field in which there is no practical knowledge and theoretical background is something from the category of bad jokes. Without relevant experience, you can be hired as a PM in a company where not everything is so good. There is no money for a full-fledged specialist, and the company is ready to take on a person who will study with them and possibly (I emphasize "POSSIBLE") will pull the company from the "bottom". Otherwise, all responsibility will fall on you because: "Well, who do we have here without experience. What else could you expect." Even if everything is not so bad, you can get into a situation where the developers, having felt that that you have a lack of knowledge in the field, they will begin to manipulate you by setting deadlines much later and overestimating the performance of tasks. This does not mean that you should be familiar with all modern frameworks and clearly know the time of the tasks, but you should have a clear understanding of the development process, as well as your plan of action in case something goes wrong. 90% of books and articles describe ideal companies where the PM does nothing but make sure that everyone has enough cookies and knocks money off customers. In reality, very often everything is complicated, for example, by the different work experience of each of the developers. And what to do in such a situation? but you should have a clear idea of the development process, as well as your own plan of action in case something goes wrong. 90% of books and articles describe ideal companies where the PM does nothing but make sure that everyone has enough cookies and knocks money off customers. Therefore, I would think very well about whether you want to be a Project, Program, Product, or maybe even a Happiness or Office manager)
In no case did I want to offend you or belittle your learning skills. Just a warning about the problems you are most likely to encounter.

Why not CEO or President?
Why be petty and cut circles like that?

What a stupid idea if you are not a manager at the age of 30
