How to be as cool as Gilfoyle?
Hello toaster.
I am a second-year student of the Faculty of Information Systems, I want to ask a little stupid question, I hope you understand.
Not so long ago, watch the series Silicon Valley. Very hooked character Bertram Gilfoyle. Which inspired me to the next question.
Firstly, I don’t understand who he is by profession, a system administrator, a server specialist or an information systems architect?
Secondly, how to become the same cool specialist?
Could you write me an approximate map (road-map) of what is worth paying attention to, reading, studying, practicing.
Thanks in advance.

Gilfoyle is more of a sysadmin.
Further, a cool specialist is not an achievement, it is a consequence of a long hard and essno successful work.
The key qualities of cool specialists in my opinion:
1 persistence (you need to achieve goals, solve problems, not quit)
2 love for work (people like the results of their work)
3 constant study
4 intuition that comes with experience.
Therefore, look for a job while you are young, work for experience, and not for money, the more difficult the tasks that you solve, the more experience you will get.
Also remember, even in cities with a population of over a million, IT is a big village where everyone knows everyone, if not directly through friends, and when you establish yourself simply as a good employee, then you will never have problems with work, interesting tasks, etc., but there time will pass and you yourself will become a cool specialist without noticing.
