How to automate the upload of prices and catalog to the store?

Good afternoon, I am faced with the task of setting up the process of uploading a catalog, prices and product availability to a construction online store from an enterprise ERP system (SAP).
We took the path of automatically loading prices and stock position in IM because:
1. Such data is already in the ERP, it is convenient to automate the process of updating prices and availability than to do it manually
2. In fact, the enterprise has 25 stores, because Each branch has its own assortment, prices and availability. Updating such an array of data manually is a thankless undertaking.
In general, this data is synchronized between IT and ERP, there are no difficulties here.
Problems begin with the formation of a product catalog. After synchronizing prices and availability, we also decided to automatically upload the catalog from ERP to the site, but it turned out that the catalog in ERP is only suitable for internal use, and customers sort products differently. Those. if you automatically upload the ERP catalog, customers will not be able to navigate it.
Example:
In ERP there is a section "steel corner", which is divided into categories - corner 14, corner 15. Everything is ok, we can use the same structure in MI. There is a section "profiling", which is divided into categories - galvanized, non-galvanized. We cannot use such a structure, because for the buyer it will be customary to divide into categories according to the brand of corrugations - C8, C10, C13, and whether it is galvanized or not - it is more convenient to see in the product options. And this data in ERP is no longer categories, but product options.
Similarly for some other products, for example, the "fittings" section. There are no categories in ERP, this section includes plastic, metal, cold-formed fittings all in a bunch. And in IM it is more customary to display these categories in separate sections.
It turns out that we cannot set up a standardized mechanism for obtaining data and forming a catalog, how to be a respected community? I guess that the data needs to be combined and transformed somewhere, somehow, but how?
