How to automate the reading of bank statements from foreign banks?
Faced with the need to automate the processing of bank statements.
The software customer has cooperation with a large number of banks, the composition of which they change more often than it would be convenient for them to release an update for a small product being created.
Namely: it is necessary to carry information from bank statements into special software, but this information is "huddled" in one cell of an Excel statement.
Each bank has a different format for Excel statements. It is also not clear with other formats - not all banks issue statements in the same csv, xml, etc.
Maybe someone knows some standards for extracts for legal entities? We are talking about foreign banks and under 1C they do not make formats.
I saw on the Internet that there are standards MT940, BAI2, ISO20022. But what are the analogues for Asian banks?
What does our customer need to request from the bank or set in the Internet banking settings so that we can get a predictable bank statement format? It is clear that each bank generates an xls file in its own way and the same data is sorted into cells differently in different banks, i.e., this option is not suitable.
