How to automate node.js update, on windows?

Good day.
Now I just download the new version of the node and install it on top of the existing one.
I want to write a batch file that would do this.
Actually questions:
How it is possible to update node.js except for reinstallation?
For example, it will be enough to simply update only node.exe.
Take it from here nodejs.org/dist/latest or something else you need to update?
Maybe you need to update npm?
