How to automate a store / chain of stores?

Hello, I don’t have much experience in automating stores using the SHTRIKH-M software and equipment POS terminals, readers and barcode printers. The task was supposedly to automate the store (or rather, the work of sellers of several departments using 1s 8.2) Maybe someone has similar experience in automating stores, what options for automation (Advice on 1C, on equipment) can you offer, I will be very grateful.

PC + printer + software option, write maybe someone will suggest something better :)
