I don’t understand anything in SEO , I’m interested in the question, how for a site that talks about cryptocurrency, is it correct to prescribe url for categories?

There is an Ethereum coin and its designation eth, what url should I create and why?

I would prefer the 3rd option since both names can be searched, although this is less beautiful.

If this is the URL for the category, i.e. there will be a selection of materials on the relevant topic on it, then I don’t see anything wrong with a site.ru/ethereum-eth/completely normal URL.
In pursuit of traffic, they do not do that. I wouldn't be surprised to see something like ethereum-eth-efiriumor ethereum-eth-efir.
If you still decide that you need a one-word URL, then of course you need to choose ethereum.

It doesn't matter how you generate the URL - it won't give you any ranking benefit.
