this->label2->Text=this->serialPort1->ReadLine();I found a code in the source that reads data from the port and displays it on the monitor, how to assign this value to a variable so that I can operate on it?

Read, or something, books on the chosen language. And then you will not understand what they will write to you.

So, I was obviously wrong that the language is C++ Builder. If it's C++/CLI, then...
