How to assign a fixed dpi value to an application?

The crux of the matter is this. I changed the dpi of the device in build.prop, everything is fine. But the curtain became too ugly. I installed xposed and the app settings module set the standard dpi value for the system GUI there. Everything became super. Now the question is: How can I do all this without xposed? What needs to be written in the application to get this fixed dpi, independent of the general dpi settings of the phone. I need this for a patch and mass use, by people who do not have xposed and do not want to install it.
