How to apply the acquired knowledge in practice?

Hello, next question.
I’ve been doing layout not so long ago, and so far there was only a theory, but as soon as I need to put my theoretical knowledge into practice... I fall into a stupor, look at the layout and don’t know what to do with it, where to start, how to layout correctly etc. I will be glad to everything that will be written here on the subject.

To get started, start visually marking the layout into sections. Let's take this layout
as an example , the original can be divided into: 1. Header (includes logo, menu and search buttons with a shopping cart) 2. Block with background image and introductory text 3. Slider 4. Catalog 5. Subscription 6. Recommended products with filter 7. Feedback form 8. Basement Each section has its own elements, respectively. Then determine the width of the content area and start typing from top to bottom. First, make the markup, then fill it with content according to the layout, and then write styles, supplementing / changing the markup as necessary.
As for how to typeset correctly, do not get hung up on this now. Do not be afraid that there are doubts, this is normal, this is how experience comes because the brain begins to think and look for solutions. Let there be mistakes and terrible shitty code, after a while look at your first works and ask yourself "did I write something?")). Everyone went through this.
The main thing is to start, and not stupidly stare at the monitor!
