How to adjust screen DPI?

Installed MintLinux 19.1 Cinnamon
On such hardware
Proc, Intel Core i3 550M
RAM DDR III 4GB
Video Nvidia GT310M I
like everything but there is one couple of things.
1) I installed the driver from Nvidia, the brightness reduction did not work and the Nvidia logo appeared when loading, I fixed it, but for some reason when I turned on the laptop, the Mint logo was huge, almost on the entire screen, how can I fix it
2) Regarding fonts on some sites, fonts somehow they don’t work, for example, in WordPress in the admin panel fonts
Screen in Mintlinux https://d.radikal.ru/d26/1904/c9/f6851db49a99.png
Screen in Windows 10 https://b.radikal.ru/b27/ 1904/44/51a3c41b24fe.jpg
The telegram is also somehow wrong
3) in some applications there is a lot of gray in the design, that is, a window in the tab browser, etc. can you advise the topic
And so it seems that MitLinux is not bad

@sotvm

try to write in /etc/default/grub
in the line GRUB_GFXMODE=640x480 (your extension that the map supports)
then update sudo update-grub
on the lightdm login screen, I know how to file it, ( I wrote here recently
but you are interested in splash screen / splash screen
PS
and pour a photo directly into the toaster conscience does not allow? why
these radical methods?
there is a button = add a screen ???
