It is known that if you insert a link to a YouTube video into a VKontakte wall, the video will automatically "pick up" and a "preview" will appear. The same goes for when a video is added to My Videos.

Will such a "preview" appear if I paste a link to a video from my personal video hosting? My video hosting has its own player.

Simply put, will there be any problems if I start publishing videos from my personally developed Video Hosting on the Vkontakte page? I want the video to look like it's a youtube video.

no. only video hosting sites approved by VK themselves work this way. and no. it is unlikely that VK will approve your personal video hosting.
