How to add variable to path setter?

Good afternoon / evening, comrades, I have a utility that uses such a thing as Tesseract-OCR, well, this is the main requirement for the program to work, but when I install this Tesseract, it does not write the path to its folder in the "environment variables" of Windows . How do I make it so that, say, when my python program writes the following to the PATH environment variable: C:\Program Files\Tesseract-OCR. Or how can I make an installer that would prescribe this?
