How to add to the exception the days of the week on which the bot will not write?

There is a VK bot, every day at 10:00 and 13:00 sends messages to users from the database. How can I add exceptions so that the bot does not write on Saturday and Sunday?

so you can get the day of the week. Monday - 1, Sunday - 7. Check - if today is day 6 or 7, then do not send a message
