How to add several attributes of the same type to a variable product?

Maybe this is not possible, but you never know what plugin is. Now I am creating a product, attributes and attribute values ​​​​to it, then I am making a bunch of variable products, from all the created attributes.
Further, for all created options, you have to specify the same images. Is it possible to create one product in which the color, photos are the same, but the sizes are from S-child to 3XL, well, i.e. attribute with checkbox. Or then you can forget about the warehouse and availability?
One more question, when displaying variable products in the card, initial images are shown, and variants only in the case of selected attributes. For example, I select the color "red", but since the product size has not yet been selected, the product card still displays the default image set for the main product. Those. I can't see the red sweater until I select a size... Is it possible to bypass selecting other attributes to display the variation image?
