How to add secure ssl protocol in godaddy registrar?

Bought a domain on godaddy. I also purchased a secure ssl protocol there and tied it to the domain. But for some reason there is no secure https connection. I'm not going to install and launch the site, I need to redirect to another resource, but for some reason https does not work. What is the problem, what am I doing wrong? This is my first time doing this, please help.
