How to add pseudo-element hints to brackets?

Hello. The question itself is in the title. Usually brackets helps with tooltips, but when you want a tooltip on pseudo-elements like hover, nth-child and the like, it doesn't respond. Not when typing, nor with ctrl+space. Couldn't find any info on how to do this.
